Hera.co is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 that aims to build a women empowering community. It was founded due to the realization of how important peer support and the presence of a community is for an individual’s road to success.
Hera.co hopes to grow the ambition, bravery, confidence and leadership qualities that it takes to succeed in the real world. Through self-defence classes, entrepreneurial workshops, confidence-building seminars and much more, hera.co strives to enable women to reach their highest potential!

Our Female Founder Speaker event series aims to voice up female empowerment with an entrepreneurial and business focus. University of Waterloo students always aspire to become successful, and inviting Female Founders to join our community is a direct support to our female community at University of Waterloo.
The PowerElle platform will merge all of the women in xyz clubs to form a single community to use for unity, power in numbers, and promotion. As we expand, we have the vision to bring together any clubs that want to participate in expressing the awareness of female empowerment across UW.
We reach our goal by hoping to host an online platform along with a combination of various types of in-person/virtual events. This platform will be fully inclusive to all UW students and partners who support the cause.
